Welcome to the Brent Digital Media Consultancy website.

My company was started in December 2010 to provide services to IBM System i (iSeries i5 i6 i7 AS/400) community. I, the founder (Brent Westbrook), have over 30 years experience with IBM "midrange systems". This includes hardware installation, maintenance and upgrade, OS installation, upgrade and PTF application. I have a thorough understanding of the System i operating system. I have developed many system tools to simplify operation and management of System i. I have managed numerous large and small bespoke software projects for a variety of commercial applications both in the UK and overseas.

I have progressed from junior programmer in the early 1980s to senior managment positions with IBM Advanced and Premier Business partners.

I have a long association with IBM and have a thorough understanding of IBM's business in the "midrange" market.

I am currently providing i5 infrastructure, management and technical support to a large offshore banking operation.

So any System i based project, be it hardware, software and infrastructure (including cross platform integration) can and will be completed successfully, on time and within budget. Any technical or commercial project that may even seem complex or unusual can be resolved.
